Plenty of time. Start when you're ready.
Convention tips
parking
Fairplex charges $17 per car, cash only, in bills up to $20. Gates open at 9 AM. If you're coming by rail, Metrolink stops at Pomona-North, where Bus 197 runs straight to the fairgrounds.
food
Outside food isn't allowed in. Food vendors sit inside Halls 4 and 5, with outdoor courts on Pepper Street and Sycamore Street between the halls. Plan your budget accordingly.
transit
From downtown LA, ride the Metrolink San Bernardino Line to Pomona-North and transfer to Bus 197, or take Metrolink to Pomona-Downtown and catch Bus 291 instead.
weather
Mid-February in Pomona is mild and dry, 66-70F by day, dropping into the low 40s at night, so pack a layer for the walk back to your car.
bags
Small insulated coolers (max 1x1x1 foot) holding only water are allowed, along with wagons used as strollers. No outside food beyond that, and no bikes, skateboards, or luggage-sized bags.
