All city-owned parking decks (including Red Hat Deck across the street) are free on weekends and after 7 PM. Zero reason to pay for parking if you time it right.

GalaxyCon Street Fest runs Saturday and Sunday with food trucks. Beasley's Chicken + Honey and Poole's Diner (James Beard winners) are a 5-minute walk.

Marriott Raleigh City Center is directly across the street with free parking. Sheraton Raleigh is one block away, also with free parking and breakfast buffet.
