parking
RisuCon has 100% free parking at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. For GPS, enter 33 Dalamar Street, Gaithersburg (a grocery store right where Dalamar meets the fairground gate at a traffic signal next to a Popeyes).
food
Food trucks operate inside the fairgrounds. Outside food and delivery orders are permitted (rare for a convention). Popeyes, Pollo Campero, Ixtapalapa Taqueria, Lu's Buffet, and Kenny's Subs are all within one to two blocks.
transit
The fairgrounds are right next to several Metrobus and RideOn bus stops. From Shady Grove Metro station (Red Line), take RideOn Route 55 toward Gaithersburg. I-270 Exit 11 is the closest highway exit.
hotels
The DoubleTree by Hilton at 620 Perry Parkway, Gaithersburg is the closest hotel. Note: emails claiming RisuCon hotel affiliation have been confirmed as scams by the organizers. RisuCon has no official hotel partner.

Gaithersburg in late September averages 70-72F highs and 50F lows, mostly clear. Pleasant weather for an outdoor fairground event with a mix of indoor and covered areas.
