Gojo Satoru Cosplay
Jujutsu Kaisen's strongest sorcerer, built around three signature details: the black high-collar uniform jacket, the blindfold, and the white spiked hair. This is an intermediate build that leans on one well-made garment plus wig styling, so it reads instantly on the con floor without months of work. The collar and the wig are the make-or-break details, and this template walks you through both. Includes 6 components, 11 materials with cost estimates, an 11-step build plan, and a realistic 5-week, $90 to $240 budget.

Build guide
Gojo's uniform looks like a lot, but it's really one jacket with a killer collar, a styled wig, and a strip of fabric over your eyes. Start with the wig and the collar, because those two details are what make people recognize you across the hall.
This is an intermediate build. If you've sewn a lined garment before, the jacket won't scare you. If you haven't, buy a plain black high-collar jacket and put your energy into the wig and blindfold, you'll still read as Gojo. Either way, don't drop $200 on a licensed jacket. A black mandarin-collar pattern in gabardine gets you about 80% of the look for a third of the price.
Here's the order that works. Buy the wig first and confirm it actually spikes before you commit, white wigs vary a lot. Then sort the jacket: mock the standing collar in scrap fabric before you cut your good gabardine, because the collar is the make-or-break detail and it's easy to get floppy. Interface it with heavyweight fusible so it stands on its own. Set the zipper offset to the side like the reference, not dead center. The pants are simple, hem them to break over your boots.
The two details everyone gets wrong: the collar and the wig. A collar without interfacing flops over by mid-afternoon and kills the whole silhouette. Spike the wig in small sections with Got2b Glued and let it set overnight, not all at once or it goes crunchy and flat. For the blindfold, one layer of black stretch jersey reads solid on camera but still lets you see shapes, test it and practice walking before you're in a packed con hall.
Budget runs about $90 to $240 depending on whether you sew or buy the jacket. Give yourself five weeks if you're sewing, less if you're modifying a base. Start with the wig this week and you'll feel the build come together fast. Happy crafting!
