San Diego Comic-Con 2027
The convention everything else gets measured against, four days at the San Diego Convention Center. Hall H panels, a legendary artist alley, and badges that go in a lottery months ahead. Sort your badge before you plan anything else.
Plenty of time. Start when you're ready.
Convention tips
parking
ACE Parking's convention center permit lottery opens in late May and fills fast. The San Diego Trolley Blue Line is the more reliable option.
food
The Gaslamp Quarter is a 5-minute walk with plenty of restaurants; just avoid the 12:30-2 PM window or expect a 45+ minute wait.
hotels
Mission Valley hotels, about 5 miles out and trolley-accessible, cost a lot less. SDCC runs a free shuttle with Mission Valley stops.
layout
Programming spills into the Marriott and Hilton Bayfront next door, and rooms don't clear between panels, so plan to stay put for back-to-back sessions in the same room.
weather
July in San Diego stays mild, 70-80F, but the sun is intense. Hall H's outdoor line has zero shade and sometimes means overnight camping.
